How to Measure for Replacement Doors

Getting the right size is simple — all you need is a tape measure, a steady hand, and a couple of minutes per door or drawer.

1

Open Your Existing Door or Drawer Front

This makes it easier to measure accurately and ensures you don’t accidentally include the cabinet frame in your dimensions.

2

Measure Height
& Width

  • Height – measure from top to bottom.

  • Width – measure from left to right.

Take each measurement in at least two places (left and right for width, top and bottom for height) to check for any variation. Use the Smallest measurement if there’s a small difference.

3

Note Hinge Hole Positions
(if applicable)

If you’d like us to drill hinge holes, measure from the top and bottom edges of the door to the centre of each hinge hole. Also note whether they’re on the left or right side.

4

Double-Check Before Ordering

Measure everything twice — it’s a small step that avoids frustration later.
